Looking for a Stallion???

Well with no photo of mare of any info apart from breeding how does anyone expect decent answers?? Honestly sounding rude I know, but for heavens sake this is like picking a name out the air. So you want a show jumper, but what do you want to improve on the mare? What is the mare like? Weakness, strengths?
 
hear hear..op please post a picture of your mare so we can see her and we can then suggest stallions to suit her.by seeing a photo we can see her conformation if photo is good then can comment on what stallion suits best..
 
Well if you could read I said I was off to have a look at the studs which you recommended, I was not dissing them I just stated that Chacco Blue was the type of stallion we were looking for and I was actualy looking for names of Stallion who would go with her lines, then we would be looking at the movement and confimation.
 
if you had a stallion mind then why not say? ask for opinions on him with pics of your mare to compare?? i dont know her breeding so wouldnt know what would suit, good luck finding a good jumper,personally i dont pick stallions with lines to suit i prefer to look at a horse and see how he is bred and if he will compliment her??

Thank you for your advice, there are just so many super stallions to choose from, I would have loved to put her to a son of Guidam but we feel she has to much bone and we know that Guidam throughs them with a good bit of bone we need somthing to add height with a good canter! You Tube is getting used!!:p
 
Why have you picked Chacco Blue as the sort of stallion you want to use? Have you been to see him? (I have) Is there something special about Chacco that particularly attracts you to him or is it just the amount of advertising he is getting right now?

Just like his attitude and hes is the stamp of horse I am looking for and Schokemhol isnt going to buy a dud!!!
 
It isn't all that difficult or expensive to go over to Schockemohles to see him for yourself. He's a very successful stallion. He won't cross well with every mare and seeing him and dozens of his offspring will help you a lot. Watching video is very different to seeing a horse in the flesh.

That sounds like a plan!! I also like Van Gogh and his offspring are jumping well!
