Looking for an intensive training course?

Hi all,

I am a bit of a stranger to you as rarely post! I'm 21, vet nurse and own 3 horses. A tb x 16.2 6 yo, a Connemara x Luciano 16hh 6 yo and my 17yo 13.3 pony!

I am looking to do a intensive style course with the two youngsters where I could go and stay with them and do the riding myself under tuition rather than sending them away to be schooled. I have owned them both from youngsters so have done most of it myself with my mums help. I'm based in oxfordshire and have had a google but can't find anything.

Has anyone done this and could recommend someone? It would be a mix of flat and jumping I'm looking to do. I don't mind a bit of a travel if we can stay there over night thanks x

I did an intensive course here - http://www.arrowequestrian.co.uk/. Sue is an excellent instructor and the place is fabulous. The accommodation is also first class (hot tub alert).

I have been looking at going away for some intensive DR training and was recommended AM Dressage by quite a few people on here. I've chatted to them on the phone but not booked anything yet (only because I need to save up some more money!). They were great on the phone, really helpful and seems like lots of HHOers have had great training from them.

I was going to suggest Arrow as well. Sue is a lovely instructor and she used to event so isn't just dressage based.

Wellington riding in Basingstoke are fab and tailor make intensive courses for you and the horse. Amazing facilities as well x

Why not look at Nick Gauntlett? He's based in Chipping Sodbury and I've heard really good things about him and he does 3 day intensive courses but would probably be flexible.
