looking for an xl market harborough.

Anyone know where I might find an Extra Full sized market harborough? (german martingale). I've bought 2 'full sized' ones off the internet and had to return them both; being too small. The horse is 17hh, but is quite chunky and has quite a large shoulder and neck.

I had two full size ones and one had much longer straps on the part to the clips (IYSIM!) than the other. I recently rode a very deep necked mare (Polish Draft) and managed to use the longer-strapped one with an old flash to extend the neck strap. Not elegant but did the job.

If I hear of anywhere to find an extra large, I'll let you know.

Perhaps price local saddler to make one - I went through 2 off the shelf cheap ones before I got a really well made one from the local saddler - cost £60 rather than the £21 rubbish one. Lasting well so far. Much better quality clips etc. Got mine from walk on trot on dot co dot uk
