Looking for another dog not much luck

Try Heathlands, based in Royston Herts. Find via Google or Facebook. Read the instructions for applying very carefully. All helpers are volunteers and all dogs are in foster care. They take all breeds but a couple of the ladies are collie specialists.
They impress you must ring between special times and then not keep nagging as they all have families, jobs etc.
I have had a rescue from them for the last 16 and she is brill. Good luck.

I presume you mean border collie/working sheepdog type? I agree with satinbaze, valgrays and agility net are always good places to look. If you mean rough collie then try the breed clubs who will point you in the direction of rescues.

Have you tried the breed rescue? I know for my breed that the club secretary has a list of dogs needing homes or at least connections to help you find a dog. They are often in foster care or still with original owners? This does tend to mostly be show bred dogs that have not made the grade or dogs returned to the breeder due to change in circumstances. Maybe google collie breed clubs and give their secretary a call. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Try local rescues - got both of mine from local places - would never go to dogs trust after they lied about dogs on their website!

Happy endings rescue are very good - website/fb not usually up to date though... best to phone/visit

This

their fb today has some collies

A friend of mine is always sharing gorgeous collies looking for a home on FB, I think she gets them from agility net, will go look.

Are you on FB? If so you could probably post a wanted ad on agilitynet. They didn't have anything on the top few posts, it is an open group so you don't need to apply to join.
