Hello everyone,

Wondering if any of you are able to recommend DIY livery in the Berks/Hants boarder area (Tadley, Padworth, Pangbourne surrounding areas - approx 8/10 mile radius)

Totally fed up where i am - the yard's lovely, so are most of the people but the field my boys turned out in is absolutely dire - muck upto his knees & the route to the field is also knee deep in mud & because its downhill the horses are sliding 2 feet with each step. YO's have no suggestions or any intention of improving the access - the fields are all clay & so the rain/water just sits on top of the ground, which when icy is treacherous to say the least.

I am looking for DIY livery with full day turn out in the winter & 24hr turn in the summer

Any ideas???

thanks for reading

Thanks for the replies.

Been to Total Equestrian there were only 2 liveries on the board... Lollipop liveries at Baughurst & another one near J12 of M4.

Anyone at or been at Tidmarsh Stud? There website looks lovely, thinking of ringing them tomorrow to find out their prices etc

Kev, Thanks for the reply. How do i PM? Its probably really obvious but being a bit PC illiterate i don't know how to do it!! Have a great week off

There are livery Vacancies at Cullinghood equestrian centre, near pangbourne, berkshire at the moment, 2 people have recently moved away, individual paddocks, 24/7/365 turnout, 3 x arena's and small indoor arena, horse walker, local shows and events. Check out their website for photo's etc.
Its nice there, people are really friendly :-) good luck

hi, have you managed to find anywhere for your horse.? I am at a private yard in upper bucklebury & shortly will be looking for someone to share with me, it is totally diy, although I would feed etc when on holiday, own field, which must be poopicked, stable, horse in & out as & when you please, direct access to bridleways/common land, very quite, just me & my 3 ponies.

Hi All,

I am looking for a livery yard in a similar area to 'fidgeuk' (tadley, mortimer, bramley, overton, bramshill, pangbourne) prepared to travel for the right yard. Was wondering if anyone knows of any small yards around this area? I have 2 geldings, needing DIY or part livery, school, all year turnout and preferably access to good hacking.

If anyone knows of anything would be much appreciated if you could point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

sorry can't help as lucky enough to keep my boys in field I rent

But as you're all local can I pick your brains please - where would you look if wanting to sell or buy at an equine table top sale?

thank you :D

Hi I have a space at my yard near Hook- not far from reading/pangbourne. RG27 postcode. I do assisted diy- feed turn out and bring in or part livery everything done but riding. We have a floodlit school, dry individual paddocks all day turn out and hacking is on Odiham Common 10mins ride away. Let me know if this isnt too far.

My yard is Ufton Nervert. Its bloody fantastic. About 10 mins away from Pangbourne. We have xc course, inddor school, outdoor school, jumping paddock. Theres about 35 liveries with the best age range and everyone is really friendly. It is completely DIY though. Theres a girl that will do your horse if you go away but not really on a day to day basis. £100 a month for a stable and grass or £50 a month for grass :)

Pm if interested!!!
