Looking for excellent kennels in Strathclyde/Renfrewshire area

Hi,

We got our black labrador from Dogs Trust last October and this is the first time we have had to kennel him. He is 1 year old and very active and boisterous to say the least!

He lives with our Cairn Terrier who our neighbour always takes when we go away but she cannot cope with the lab.

I am so worried about kenneling him in case he thinks he is being abandoned, particularly since he has been in kennels his whole life until we took him.

He gets quite a lot of medication for various ailments, so need kennels where they will definitely do that. He also needs loads of exercise so do not want him locked up with just a run.

Did look into these companies that will take him and put him with a family for the 6 days, but too be honest would worry more about him then since he is so hyper.

Can anyone recommend good kennels, cost no concern since just want what is best for him

There is one I would definitely not recommend if that helps! Their negligence nearly cost our lab her life and now my mum refuses to send her to kennels at all (and this was 4 years ago!). Whenever she wants to go away either myself or my sister are dispatched back home to look after pup

My sister gets married next year and doggy will have to go into kennels so my mum has arranged that our vets will take her for the few days, maybe thats an option?
