Looking for full livery in north Kent

Can anyone recommend a good full livery yard in north kent (within a 30 minute drive from Greenwich) with good hacking. I am moving my horse down from Scotland in the next couple of months.

I have found Taylors in Bexley and Bromley Common Liveries on-line - are they any good? Would prefer smaller yard.
 
Taylors isn't that big - it is part of a bigger yard but is self contained with a separate entrance.

You also have Shannon Leigh in the same area which is also online. Although there are a fair few stables it is never 'busy' and often the school is completely empty.

I know of Bromley Common but I've never been there so can't help with that one.

You also have the Swanley area - Old Mill is supposed to be good (again I've not been there).

What are you looking for etc (PM me if you prefer) and I'll try to help as its my immediate area?

The hacking is rubbish from the Old Mill though. I personally don't like Bromley Common much because it's a big yard and rather busy. I think get a good list of yards and spend a day viewing them. If turnout is important to you be careful to ask the right questions as it can be very restricted in some yards in this area.
 
Hi Scotslass - I've just seen your post and was wondering if you managed to find anywhere good to keep your horse? I live in Greenwich and am thinking of moving my horse up here from Bristol way. I currently ride at a yard in Bexley which is nice, but has very limited turn out (and no turn out at all in the worst bits of winter!) so that's not suitable as my boy has never really spent much time in a stable!

I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts (or anyone else's) on nice yards that are commutable from Greenwich and have decent turn out and preferably people there in the evenings!

I would say that the internet is not the best place to look as not many small yards have websites.
The old mill is full and has been for some time.. I would love to go there but get the feeling that once people move there they dont leave!!
I am actually taking a drive down past the old mill at the weekend as I know there are other yards down that lane, so will pop into any that look appealing!
