Looking for history on mare-Miss Daisy...

Hi,

I have recently bought a 16hh bay tb mare called Daisy ('Miss Daisy'). Her passport says that she is by El Conquistador.

The lady I bought her from said that she was shown, up until she was about ten - I have a copy of 'Horse' magazine 2001, she was on the front cover, being riden by a Helen Swaine (at the time she was owned by a Yvonne Burt- an american?)

I would really like to trace her showing career but dont really know where to start?

She is currently in foal to a nice stallion but I would like to find some more history/info as she is a sweet mare and I was thinking of re-backing her for hacking next year but am unsure why she was retired/sold. I am a complete novice to the showing world and if she is up to it I would like to take her to some small shows next yr as well!!

Do you know what she was shown as e.g. Hunter, Riding Horse, hack etc , was her showing name Miss Daisy?

You could try contacting the British Show Hack and Cob Society, I think it might have changed it's name to something else though?
