Shocking. Not that I condone paying money for any dog, but for mongrels.
Lurchers arent mongrels in that they are not just random dogs crossed for the sake of it. I'm sure some idiots do do that, but most lurchers are bred thoughtfully and for a specific purpose. The ones I know at least as much thought goes into them as it does with pedigrees. The good ones are in high demand.
But I'm not sure that really means a lot if you dont believe you should pay for a dog. I'm more than happy to pay for what I want, and support someone who is breeding quality and for the right reasons.
