Hi

I am new to the area and moving to Weybridge.

I am looking for a yard with a school and turn out with decent fencing! DIY or Part Livery I wonder if anyone knows of anything with space. it seems most places that look good have a long waiting list....

Thanks!

check out Clocktower Liveries :) (though I think they tend to be full livery, though of course some people's part livery is other people's full livery so I thought I'd mention it in case.....)

Try Willow Farm Stud in Chobham, I looked recently and was really lovely with good school, lovely stables but is part livery. Only didn't go as a vacancy come up with a friend.
Good luck and welcome to the area

You might want to check out some other forum messages about Willow farm - although I've only competed there and the facilities looked OK.

There are loads and loads of places around here. If you haven't already it might be worth visiting Chobham Rider and chat to the staff there. (As well as checking out who is advertising right now.)

Willow View Farm or whatever it has been called is now running as a riding school. The old owners ahve moded to Mazambonie (i think thats how its spelt) which is apparently quite nice. I would good it. I saw a flyer for it in the local Countrywide yesterday so it must ahve a website.

I'm desperately searching for assi DIY in Chobam or Ascot area and failing miserably. Currently stabled in a very wet location with very little lighting which makes mid week exercising a bit of a nightmare! I'm looking at a self contained yard of 6+ plus but decided its like findings hens teeth.

If yoou are looking for Part then theres an abundance of places. I can list some - I haven't been to all so can't garuntee them..

Heathfield Equestrain - I did go to a clinic there once it looked really nice
Larkenshaw
Mazambone
A new yard at Fenns Farm has just opened
There is another Willow Farm which is run by eventers - http://www.willowviewfarm.co.uk/
I MAY BE MUDDLING THIS AND THE ONE I MENTIONED EARLIER NOW I'VE PUT 2 AND 2 TOGETHER

I can add that there is two yards with Willow as part of their name.

Willow Stud on Bagshot Road is the one which is being turned into a riding school. It was previously a showjumping yard and these guys have gone to Mazambone. There are constant rumours that this place will eb bulldozed as much erected illegally but its most def still standing because I drove past it this morning.

The other Willow View looks really nice and I enquired there a few years ago. I only didn't go because I live one side of Chobham and the yard is the other but the traffic through is a nightmare during rush hour.. the owners seemed nice though and the husband was a vet. Also I remember particulary keen on the fact you could have a stable cam.. yes seriously, a camera in your horses stable and you could check in at any time. I'd be checking all the time! :)

Anyway I hope you find somewhere.
