Looking for Livery Yard Recs in Yeovil

Hello all, it’s been a while, if you read my previous post unfortunately I didn’t get out of hospital that year, or even the next but my discharge is planned for the end of this month! I’ve changed location, I’m now in Yeovil and have no clue about the equine scene here. I only ever knew the community in Northampton.

I’ve had a look online and can’t find many options of diy livery in Yeovil. Does anyone know anywhere that would take a small Shetland or Welsh pony? I’m looking to just get an equine friend to have as a therapy pony and liberty train so arenas aren’t essential but hacking would be nice for in hand walks. I’m also looking to make some horsey friends in the area so if you’re from Yeovil I’d love to chat, I don’t bite!

My last option would be a sole use yard as I can’t afford to keep more than one pony and I wouldn’t want the horse I get to be lonely but I’d consider it if I can’t find anywhere else that can accommodate.

Try Cuckoo Hill livery just outside Yetminster. Or alternatively contact Jessica Talbot who is on Facebook. She has a yard just outside Martock and has ponies. Not sure if she takes DIY liveries but would be very likely to know someone local who does. Good luck and welcome to the area
