Looking for my Mares history & quention "Dodgy" passport?

Hi there, I'm quite new to the forum so bare with me! :confused:

I recently bought (rescued!) a piebald cob form some gypsies near me in Bristol. Her passport says she's 5 years old and called Dolly. The guy i bought her from gives name but address is stamped Suffolk he says he's had her for under a year. There are no former keepers before him.

Also the whole passport is hand written.. with no stallion/mare details :(

Does this seem odd to anyone?

Also how can i find out any of her history? I think she has foaled in the past (i know its really young but droopy belly and low teats lead vet and myself to wonder) Id like to trace the foal if at all possible.

its not essential just overly curious!

Could you put a photo up and see if anyone recognises her?

Chances of finding her foal are slim mind.

Not sure about the handwritten passport - perhaps it was issued at a market?
 
My new boy has an odd passport. Its definitely his as he has a strange shaped facial marking that is on the passport, but his height, breed and colour are all wrong. It says he is a Palomino Cob Gelding. He is definitely a Chestnut Haflinger! He has a ridiculous name too which I am changing (all the superstitious people gasp in horror!) :eek:

The passport agency are happy for all this to be changed and a duplicate issued with the correct details.

Who issued your horses passport?
 
The passport is by the British Driving Society. which makes sense cus she is broken to drive according to her last owner..


i would post a picture but I'm not sure how... :confused::confused::confused:

This is when i first got her, she's scruffy and fat i know! she looks alot better now though i have no more recent pictures!
