Hi all,

I am hoping someone can help me with recommending a professional breaker for my now 3yr old as I would like to send him away early next year for his final stages of education. I’m looking for someone who specialises in showjumping, however I’m struggling to find anyone in the area. I’m based at junction 25 of the M1.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I'd recommend Scott Wallace, he taught my 4yr old to jump this summer, he used to be Vere Philips rider, he's based between Loughborough and Nottingham. PM me for his number if you want.

I've been at a lot of courses recently where Dan Wain has been there.. http://m.ds-equestrian.co.uk professional show jumping type backing. He's based in Warwick. He's gentle guy and seen him at both the Dr Ridgway clinic and Klaus Schoneich clinic.. so he's seems to be always enhancing and refining his skills with professional development. Course made me realise how we really need to think about horses carrying themselves right from the beginning. I started my youngster myself and he's heavy on forehand/crooked due to me prob just lolling about on him, rather than effective long reining/lunging. I'm at j25 too. Good luck with find the right person, Hannah

Ez. He's the OH to Alwaysbroke on here. Close to Jnc25. He's going to help me with my lad that I bought from Derby market. I'd trust him implicitly with any of my horses. PM me if you'd like his number.
