Looking for reflective brushing boots

A friend of mine (who didn't remember where she got them) once had some great reflective brushing boots and I'm trying to find the same ones to buy, but I think they probably aren't made anymore. Can anyone tell me if these ring a bell? They were made of coloured (pink or yellow) neoprene and had silver reflective straps and a black striking pad with a logo of four interlocking horseshoes (I think) on it.

As you can see I'm quite obsessive about them! They were much better than the legacy ones, which seem to be about the only ones around apart from woofwear (not colourful enough!) because they really moulded to the leg while still being tough, were brilliantly washable, and the straps were ultra-reflective.

I brought some great ones from Tesco a couple of years ago - they were black with really wide reflective pink straps (the straps really were wide enough to be seen clearly). Our local tescos don't have any horsey stuff in anymore, so I'm not sure if you can still get them.

Other than that I have a couple of sets of the leg wraps, that you can either put on bare legs, or over boots - I think the ones I have were made by Riff Raff, but I know there are other makes of them out there!

I do quite like the leg wraps, but there is a bit of a knack to putting them on so that they actually stay in place!! :)
 
I had a set like you describe many years ago - they were great, lasted for years and never rubbed.
Ours were 'Martin Wilkinson' the logo was horseshoes in the form of the letters. Have not seen a pair like them for years I'm afraid.

Thanks! Those must have been the ones - my friend's did at least two Golden Horseshoes and training for without rubbing or falling to bits, hence my desire for them...! But I did suspect that I'd be lucky to find any, even secondhand. Cheers for putting my question to bed, though. :)

And thanks also to those others who answered, but I'm afraid I'm fed up with most of those currently available - they all seem to be too stiff and clunky or too cheap-feeling, and they all fall to bits in the washing machine after a while. I'm just going to have to make my own with my great sewing skills... :rolleyes:
 
Can't remember the name of them but saw some really hi viz covers for boots at Your Horse Live last year. So if you horse normally wears say SMC's you could put these over the top to make them hi viz.

If I remember the name I'll bob back on here and post it for you. I thought they were a good idea but quite pricey for what they were.
