Looking for sharer, any tips?

I got in touch with the riding clubs at my local Universities as some students have spare time (also during the day) and many of them are really good riders, having left/sold horses back home.

When I was looking for a horse to share I went around local tack shops and any local/tack shop websites with message boards etc... In fact I was looking for a sharer a couple of years ago and put an ad on one of these sites and can't get it removed and am still getting e-mail enquries nearly 3 years later!!!

I put my ads on new rider, ad horse, equine advertiser and a couple of others, got a lot of responses, the first sharer didnt work out but i was still getting responses and found a lovely girl who loves my gelding as much as i do. Just chat with people and get a feel for them before they view your horse. Quite a lot of people looking for a horse to share won't necessarily be looking in tack shops if they dont already have a horse/have a need to go to tack shops.
