Am looking to treat myself to some new wellies/riding boots and was going to buy the muck boot tyne boot but after reading some reviews have decided not to but is there any suggestion for any other boots similar?
I got Tyne last year, they do keep your feet warm and are good for walking through the mud as the neoprene top part fits the leg unlike wellies, I do have a wide calf though! They don't come off in the mud unlike wellies that can get sucked off. I don't really like riding in them they felt like riding in wellies but maybe just me as I prefer leather boots or chaps. The top neoprene part has started to disintegrate a bit now and they look quite tatty, no splits or tears though. Suppose they are a jack of all trades boot, wellington/riding boot combined if I had the choice of riding in a regular wellingdon or these then I would choose these.
Hope that's of some help!
I have just ordered my new Muck Boots (tack) had a pair all last year and loved them, wore them every day and rode in them. I know some folk have had trouble with spliting, but mine are just worn to death. I look around and found the best price at discountwellies.co.uk.
I'm a lover of muck boots too. I have the short ones and the long riding type ones which I use as wellies but can then wash off and ride in. I found them very warm and have not had any problems with them. They are also a good price.
try ebay I got my muck boots from there in a rather funky pink check havent leaked yet. found these better than hunters as I have fat calfs and these being stretchy fitted fine
