Hi guys
this is my first time of posting here. Please can you help me. I have a lovely dutchwarmbloodx tb mare who I had a fab accondy colt off a few yrs ago. I'm looking to put her in foal again, but fancy a dressage stallion this time.
I like rubin star n but based in Cheshire & fear that with 3 kids in tow it's a little far. I think after my experience of ai last time she got in foal alot quicker at stud therefore keen to send her to the stallions yard even if she is ai'ed.
Does anyone have any ideas of Rubinstein or rhodiamant stallions within 2hrs of Cheshire? My mare has a reasonably long back & about 9 1/2inch of bone therefore need a compact lighter type.
Thanks for your help in advance.

We have a stallion with Rubinstein lines along with Ferro. If interested PM me we are in The Scottish Borders. Cheshire is about 3 hours from here.

I like the sound of that above, rubinstein and ferro!! mmmm!!!

Others are: Richelshagen at Weekorchard stud, not sure where in the country they are sorry!! But owner is very helpful. http://www.weekorchard.co.uk/

Also there is Woodlander Rockstar who is Rotspon (Rubinstein) but I don't believe he is near you unfortunately. http://www.woodlanderstud.com/stallions.htm

I do like Rubin Star N and I was talking to someone who bred a lovely colt by him, they were very pleased. The owner of the stud is also very helpful!

The ones from the R line I can think of in the UK in addition to those mentioned above are the wonderful Keystone Rhondeo who is in Sussex, Keystone Rivallino who is standing at Touchwood stud this season, and I do know of a coloured stallion that is R line who is jumping very well who is in Wales, Rubicolour - stands at Vallergorn stud.

Woodlander Rockstar is a Rubinstein grandson and was Summer National Champion Medium and has just won the Winter Advanced Medium as well as most of his classes on this year's Sunshine Tour (Advanced Medium). He is doing his first International Small Tour this year starting with Wiesbaden (which I am sure will be very "green"). His cxhildren are wonderful to work with including Rallentissez who won the Mare Performance Test (Dressage) at 3 for the BWBS/WBS.

He is only available this year with frozen semen but it is wonderful semen and all the mares inseminated with it were pregnant (including two who twinned). Please contact us because with the right management frozen semen can be much less expensive than weeks away at stud.

I have bred 3 by Rubin Star - really pleased with them all. Out of 3 different mares, all fab movers and easy guys. I wanted to use Richelshagen this year but unfortunately he is not available chilled or frozen, only natural cover and he is down in Cornwall so too far for the OP I guess......
