I am hoping some one will know what the plant I am looking for is called. Unfortunately, I do not have a photo of it as it was growing in a previous yard. Here goes :
Grows about 30-50cm high
Leaves and stems have slightly prickly bits sticking out of them
Has little yellow daisy like flowers that have mini dandelion like seeds when flower is finished.
Hoping someone will know what this plant is 🤞 Reason for asking is my horse liked to eat these plants

My guesses without a photo are groundsel, but it does contain toxins, or prickly lettuce which my horses like.

Unfortunately no right answers yet. The stems and leaves have prickles on them and are quite stiff, so not a dandelion on the ground type of plant, but rather one that has stems and leaves but not a 'thick bush' type formation. Gahhh, I wish I could find it

Quigleyandme, that is interesting. I have tried to hunt down some seeds of the plant but the only place that advertised them is out of stock, just my luck. Will have to stalk them! Who would have thought I would be looking for weed seeds :D
