We've been before but not for a while now (pre covid) it's a lovely venue, big arena, lorry park etc. From memory the fences are quite busy so it will be very interesting with a 'looky' horse. Eek !

The downsides are that the lorry park can get quite sloppy when wet (but they have been known to hand out little shoe covers to keep your boots clean!) and the exit is straight onto the Oxford ring road (dual carriageway) which can be a bit intimidating but a gap always appears thanks to the traffic lights at the roundabout.
ETA - the upside, other than those mentioned by Spangles, is the cafe. Not sure if they still do but they used to do excellent cheesy chips!!
