Hi, I have been searching for a yearling or 2 year old filly. I am really interested in the Rubenstein line as well as Quarterback and Hotline as sires.

Does anyone know of any good studs, websites or contacts as I seem to be looking in the wrong places.

I want something with a good mind and train ability but with great paces. Not sure if abroad would be the best place to look but would be good to get something British bred.

Thanks

Am open to other lines of course but those were ones I was really interested in! I would consider something as a brood mare but nothing older than 2 as would require being broken in which I do not have the time for as I would like to do it myself but I really enjoy have the youngsters and handling them etc so that's why I say something that is a yearling or 2 year old.

I want to be able to breed from when the mare is old enough but will break her in myself and would like something to take up the grades at dressage as competed at Advanced medium before and would something to work towards higher levels.

Glossoms Stud have a rubinero 3 year old and a Hotline 2 year old for sale. I have recently bought a foal from them, i have yet to pick it up but the stud owner has been really great. Their horses are absolutely superb also.

I have a contact who breeds sports horses and has some very nice yearlings I can't offhand remember who they are all by but if yhou are interested pm me and I can give you their details.

OK, not the lines that you were quite looking for!!! But I came across this filly (OK yes I am biased I also have a movistar colt foal who has THE most laid back and easy temperament so far!! He has very much the jazz stamp in the shoulder and neck)
Annie (Chestnut) should make approximately 16.2hh, she has excellent dressage breeding with T.Movistar and Sandro Hit bloodlines. Rising 3. Advert and photo on Horsequest under dressage youngstock...

Not sure if this filly is still for sale but the price on horsequest for this is very good!!! (Too good??) on the same page as above but further down page:
GRIBALDI / RUBINSTEIN YEARLING FILLY

Fabulous very mature black filly born May 2008 to make 16.2.
By Rubinero ( Rubinstein) out of a KWPN mare by (Gribaldi) mare line has PROK, STER and KEUR PREF predicates.
Tall, elegant good moving filly would be suitable for both dressage and eventing
A lot of thought went in to the breeding of this filly, Gribaldi is the sire of the dressage sensation Moorlands Totilas and Rubinero was chosen for his fantastic temperament and exceptional rideability.
This filly is AES registered ( due to error on mare owners part) but is eligible for entry into the KWPN, Hannoverian and Oldenburg studbooks
Well handled, wormed, microchipped and fully vaccinated

Looking at the chestnut movie star youngster in the photo it's knees looked odd, almost as if they bowed out. The bay looked nice.

I have to agree that the photo does look a little odd but I think its just the angle of the photo, if I were looking and was local I'd still go and have a look to be sure or ask for further photos.

I have a fantastic filly by Surprise (Rubinstein line, also got Donnerhall & Pik Bube in the pedigree). I bought her from the breeders Alice & Alex Petternell - Hinton dressage. You are best to call them though as I don't think the website is always up to date - my mare is still on there ! She has the most wonderful temperament, but is still sharp enough when ridden, and moves like a dream. I would buy another in a shot. Alice & alex are lovely people as well which is a bonus.
