Good evening, we are hoping to put up a new stable block in the not to distant future on a plot of land that we are in the process of buying. The land is already used for equestrian purposes but we will need to apply for planning permission.

Has anyone any experience good or bad of the following suppliers, Olson Timber Buildings based in Ashford Kent, Prime Stables based near Horsham & Finer Stables based in Lutterworth. We are in South Northants so Finer would be closest to us. We are on a bit of a budget and really want to try and make sure we use the right people for the job and get best value. Its not going to be any fancy but will be a dream come true if all goes to plan. Ideally I would like to be able to have individual turnout pens for the winter as our old boy suffers with COPD and this would really help him.

Any other suggestions on who to use would be really appreciated you hear so many horror stories and we can't afford to get this wrong! Thank you xxx

I used Oakley Stables at Liphook, they were a few thousand cheaper than the other quotes. I could go and look at stables that had been up for 10 years before I ordered, and was very impressed! They were extremely efficient, the team who came to put it up were great, and after 6 years, they look as good as the day they went up. Would highly recommend them.
