looking to buy a new saddle

Looking to buy a new saddle and I have been looking at the Thorowgood range. I know it will come down to the fit, but what are peoples thoughts on the T4 t6 & T8 for a cob?! Also, I have a second hand wintec that I currently use but struggle to do the girth up as the straps are so rigid. Are they "softer" with the Thorowgood?

I've got a T4 cob that I used to back my highland. The tree was a great fit on his wide, flat back. The girth straps are a bit stiffer than well used leather but I think they flex a little more than Wintec maybe? What size are you after? I am considering selling mine as I now have a leather one for him.

my TG saddle had leather straps on it. can easily have them changed if need be by a saddler if you are struggling.
