Looking to Buy Foal/Youngster

hello guys

ive been searching the internet for hours on end now. does anyone kno of any reliable and trust worthy dealers, breeders or stud farms in devon? im looking for a young horse who i can eventually break in to go eventing. i want it to have good temperment good conformation and has to have papers of past breeding! but still be a resonable price. and what sort of price range should i go for?? all opinions welcome!

They have a few each year and are devon based, and reasonably priced I believe

You need to get in contact with Sue Horn, she has some of the most wonderful youngsters that are doing very VERY well as eventers. She is a wonderful person and very easy to deal with.

Contact her either through Narramore Stud (they have a FB page) or she is also a member of this forum too. I don't think you will be disappointed with any of their stock.

Have you tried Shovern Stud in crediton, devon? A friend of mine was looking to use one of the stallions (warmblood) and we also looked at this seasons foals one of which i beleive is still for sale. An absolutely stunning filly by the cremello german warmblood Magician GF, out of a warmblood mare by Phanten. The lady who owns the stud is Jill webb and she was very genuine and helpful and the stallions were superb in the box and lovely to handle. very much worth a look, my friend is definately going to use them, but cant decide which one!

Lucy wiegersma is devon based, and has lots of various youngsters, from foals, yearlings, 2 - 3 yr olds and 4 year old, also some allready being ridden and eventing. her website www.acquilaequestrian.com. not sure the website is up to date but worth ringing.

I know it is very petty, but it is a pet hate of mine, a foal is out of the mare by the stallion, so these foals are out of her lovely Eventing mare by Grafenstolz. - Sorry do not mean to offend, but it just grates me.
