looking to buy racehorse/ex racehorse direct from trainer anyone know any good ones?

HI,

So i am looking for a new little project for me and my husband to bring on , we both are very experienced in backing and breaking and re-scholling of racehorses, i have been in contact with jim boyle down at epsom and he has a few that may be of interest to me and i am going to look at, but like to keep my options open as we may consider another either now or later in the year.

so if you guys no of any good trainers that my sell on there unwanted race horses for being to slow or no good at job then let me know please.

will consider most things as long as sound. i no what to look for and what not to lol!!

Yeah i like jim boyle my friend used to work for him and he has some really nice clean limbed horses at hardly any price and he is reliable which is a bonus.

I got my ex-racer from Michael Attwater in Epsom lovely, lovely people & they have some really genuine horses there. He has a website so try googling him, he didnt expect any money for the horse, just the understanding we would give him a good forever home :)
 
Thanks thats great , just out of curiosity ,how did you guys go about sourcing your horses i am just going direct to trainer's ? do you think thats best?
 
We happened to go to an open day at his yard & he was advertising them then, that is how we got into contact.
I would e-mail them politely asking if they have any horses coming out of training or looking for homes, explain your experience & what you want to do & see what responses you get :)
