Looking up a 5 year old that I have been asked to sell. He is called Montrose Man and only ran a few times with one placing. However found out that he sold at the sales for £28000 as a 2 year old and we are now asking £2500 as a potential dressage/eventer, talk about devaluation! He is a lovely horse and is on the for sale page at www.sweventing.com if you want to look
 
Gosh small world. What was she like? If anyone knows anything about his sire Foxhound I would be interested in that too. Monty is incredibly athletic with a powerful back end and you can feel his power when on him. However he as yet has no idea of is ability and is quite a soppy character, very loving and most interested in cuddles etc. With an experienced rider bringing him on he could go far eventing/dressage. I would keep him if I could but there is no way I can fund another so looking for a good home.

My father actually used to own Monty when he was racing and I was just wondering if you knew how he is getting on? I know this thread is really old but I've recently been googling him and this is the furthest I've gotten! Thanks so much x
 
If you register with racing post (costs very little) you can watch videos of horse's races. Lovely to see your ex-racer in action!
