Had a lovely lady come and see her on sunday who CLEARLY knew what she was doing (a first, believe it or not).
Raggs behaved perfectly and so she's off on Saturday.

Is good for me financially but

Well done and at the right time of year too so you don't have to carry her through winter.
Hope your client has a lot of luck with her.

Just a tip I learnt and it does work, believe me!
I always write in their passport (where the change of names are so it can't be missed) that "The breeder would very much like to keep in touch if (stable name) should ever change ownership or starts competing" along with my name, address and phone number (email addresses can change!) Since I've been doing that, only one has slipped off the radar and it is great getting news of your babies, a real boost!

Are you hoping to keep the gorgeous Mouse?

Thankies All,

Clair - She's going to Retford (outside Doncaster) - lady wants to do a bit of showing with her & then back her and keep her as a her main riding horse.

Pat - That's a good idea. I already asked if I could keep in touch and have 1st refusal if she ever has to sell her, but will write details in.

As for Mouse, well - yes, she's staying

Aw, that’s so nice she’s going to a good home! I no just how you feel, I just had so sell my mare (big warm blood), for financial reasons. But at least I know the home she’s off to is a life home. And then she’ll be a brood mare, cant complain at that!
