Looks like I've bought a pony!!!!!!!

Thanks all do much. Home from work now and sorting stuff to take to yard. My old water bucket has just spilt and I need feed bins (got 1 with no lid lol). Sorted a couple of second hand rugs I've got to collect. She's due at 3!!! Eek I feel about 12 years old!!!!!

Quick update. She arrived very settled if a little late (just getting dark so no pics really) But I'd rather that than rushing in this windy weather. She just mooched off the lorry into her stable. Looked at the shavings (don't think she's ever seen those lol) but soon joined me on her bed once I stood on it lol. Had a wee and tucked into her haynet!!! She met my daughter and was very sweet with her, whilst FP (daughter) got stuck in with jobs feeding and water topping up. She suggested we buy Lottie and when I told her we already had her little face lit up it was a lovely moment!!!

I'm a happy person. I've managed to get a lovely rhino stable rug that fits perfectly for £25 so I'm chuffed with that and a lightweight turnout for £15 so I'm ok until yhl on Sunday.

I'm tired and happy. Thanks guys.

I've got one of her cousins who he is by Moy Hazy Cove. He is a fab stallion who is still doing the business age 26 at Fernville stud. My boy has a lovely temperament which I think is typical of the line. I hope you have lots of fun on your little lady she is gorgeous.

Thanks. Yes I'm sure she'll test me with time lol. ATM I can't believe she's only 4 she takes everything in her stride. She notices things but once she's seen them once she's like 'oh ok'.

Yes she's so super chilled but very sweet and interested. She was do good with daughter even when she jumped with excitement. I like that we're entering the world of connie ponies!!!
 
Welcome to Connies! I got mine last year as looking for a small safe hack (old lady syndrome) and can see why they are so popular with adults as well as children. I even went to Connemara to Clifden show this year to see where they come from. It is very rugged and beautiful - just like the ponies.

There are 3 new ponies on the yard and they're all connies lol. We said we need a yard trip lol!!

Yes I'll take some more tomorrow. She's been soooo good. Got to take it really slowly though going to do it properly. Got an ACPAT Physio friend who'll come to see her and she needs her teeth looking at and her jabs finished (had her first lot yesterday after vetting). Then I need a saddle. I thought my isabell werth wintec might fit her as its adjustable with flair too but it's got quite a curved tree and she's got a back like a table so I doubt it. I'll be pottering with groundwork and lunging until then.
