Loose ring snaffle slipping through mouth

we tied a comfy barrel expert bits loose ring today which looked fine and was even on both sides until we started work. It slips through to the right which leaves the left with no clearance and pinching her! The bridle is even. Why is this happening anyone?!

Bit looks too big. If you send expert bits the photo they should be able to help you.

We have the same bit, ours doesn't do that. Must be too long? What size is it? They are very helpful so definitely email them and they should be able to swap it for you x

Without seeing the other side I can’t tell if the bit is actually too large but you could try a full cheek design for stability?

Also cannot see how your bridle fits and how long the cheek pieces are? Both bit and bridle need to fit properly.

Yes cheek pieces look high on there, buckle should be level with eyes..this is ours with the same bit, 5" (loose ring comfy barrel Expert Bit) on our 14.2 pony x

Does it do the same with other ridrs? could the rider be slightly heavier in the hand on the right?
