Not really a question, im just feeling pretty proud of myself at the moment.
But with british dressage announcing a rule of overweight riders on there horses i decided i needed to stop denying the fact i was too heavy for my pony.
Since the rule change iv lost 18lbs and took my girl for a short hack this week after her having time off since the announcement.
Another stone to go before i start having lessons and competing again, but im bloody proud of myself. :)

Well done. That is a great achievement. Anyone who has tried to lose weight knows how difficult it is. You should be really proud.

I've been through the weight loss process, started Some years ago with the same motivation as you although I don't compere really anymore. I think it does winders for out general all roundbeing as I've certainly felt benefits.

Just out of interest have you done a diet route or a combination exercise and exercise. I dos combination and although everyone says I'm now slim I weigh more than I look which I think is from building strength with the gym.
