That's why we sold our lorry and bought a trailer. Worst thing for them is being laid up not in use. They need a weekly drive out (last time I said that on here someone argued that point). All you can do is get the repair carried out but take it out for a weekly spin.

Aye mine needed a new battery and I suspect a few other bits will need attention due to it being stuck over lockdown (due to the battery doh!).

That is annoying!
Mine failed on welding this time, it failed on welding last time and we had so much done to get it through the next few years... ?‍♀️ Fail!
I agree with the regular little drive out. Like my grandad used to take the car for a spin on a Sunday ?

My lorry has barely moved this year. Think its had 2 runs out. I can't legally drive it yet. My husband is a HGV mechanic so I leave it all up to him.

I've taken mine out at least once every 2 weeks during this and previous lockdowns.
Our nearest feed store is a 16 mile round trip, so instead of getting feed and pet food every 4 to 6 weeks, I've been popping over every fortnight having done click and collect.
Has kept little box ticking over, and in prep for properly using it next week, I just went for a drive in it this morning ?
