I have a Ford Cargo horsebox and I'm not sure what the tyre pressure should be ( I have only just aquired it) it is a 7.5 Tonne vehicle. the tyre size is 225/75 R16 with double wheels at the back. Can anybody advise me please?

O/h says that it should say on the tyre...

Just been to have a look at ours (7.5 ton Leyland DAF with the same sized tyres) & it says 95 PSI. O/h also says to check that whatever you're inflating them with is up to the job.

Hope that helps...

Maybe I'm just a wimp, but I understood tyre pressure should only be adjusted by a professional because of the danger of it exploding (happened to 2 people I know of, one was hospitalised, the other killed) because the pressure is so great compared to a car tyre. Would be glad to know if I have fallen for a tall story here, or if I am right
