Lorry Plating - Maidstone Area

Hi,

Need to get my lorry plated before the end of October. Just wondered if anyone can reccomend a good place as I have never had one done before. Its a Mercedes 814 if that makes any difference.

I would ask other lorry owners in your immediate area who they use to do their pre-mot check and service. You need to book up your test well in advance. VOSA Vehicle and Operator Service Agency 91-92 The Strand Swansea SA1 2DH Tel: 0870 6060440 I believe that the fee is £49.00. For the test you will need the vehicles last MOT and also the Plating Certificate which was the certificate which was created when the vehicle was turned in to a horse box. It gives the axel weights and gross weight etc.

You could also try Purfleet. I've taken many lorries there and always found that a sweet smile melts their cold hearts
