Lorry plating question

I don't put weight in the back of mine - never have done. Haven't needed a hi viz either.

Take some spare bulbs with you - even though you have checked them first they can still fail. Though if you haven't got any, and you do have a dicky bulb, don't panic - there will be a friendly truck driver in another lane who will help!!

Have never had my reverse light checked either - though had not thought about it till you mentioned it.

In my experience the testers are usually very friendly too...

its really easy and much cheaper than paying someone to do it for you!! You just follow the instruction of the lane your in and then drive onto the rolling road (they will guide you on so dont take your eyes off them!!!!!!!! takes in total less than 20 mins from start of test to end!!! You have to listen to the instuctions for your lane ,,,,,,which with 4 lanes goin isnt easy but they are really friendly and ive done it twice now and the inspecters have been really helpful. I wash my lorry overall and under too, take the hubcaps off and get my friends husband to give it the once over before i take it!!! Deffo would recommed it to anyone to do yourself is dead easy!!!!!!

just to add has anyone heard of the petrol cap hole area having to be coverd up for the MOT now??????a
