Lorry Prices

Looking to sell my 7.5 and replace with similar, but smaller living and bigger horse area to accommodate 17.1 and 17.3. Prices are so variable. anything from 4k to 30 odd! Its such a minefield! How do you go about pricing?

Look at the ones that have actually sold for their price! We were lorry selling and hunting for next one, some of the prices asked for 25-30 year old lorries is insane, yes, you love them and have great memories in them but realistically they are not going to go through MOT for another 10 years! They may have another 5 years at best. Just because they cost you so much, doesn't reflect what you are asking for them. Some people may pay it but its crazy. We put our 25 year old DAF up for well under 4k, and even then we know we will take an offer. She's solid and sturdy and safe, but we have seen others worse condition and more mileage advertised for 10k plus and they wonder why they are not selling.

Have a look at some private ads on Horsequest and a few dealers to gauge where your pricing should be xx

Thank you. Its a hard one as its an old Arden box on a 2007 wagon, but after the amount of work currently being done on it, and one of my horses being lame may keep it!
