How accurate is the lorry weight they take when it gets plaited. Mine must have been eating something as it's 500kg heavier than last year, but nothing has changed

Take it to a public weighbridge for the most accurate weight. My MOT paperwork only gives axle weight?

Agreed - you need to take the vehicle to public weighbridge for true indication, the MOT is not designed to give weights for the lorry.
