Lorry question.

Hi,
We have an E reg cargo 3 horse lorry its a great runner ect but we travel far and wide and so its tmie for something newer. The living and horse area is fine, (Eg, modern, and sound) So instead of selling it/ part ex it we are now thinking of swapping the box bit onto a newer chassis.

Here are the questions!
Has anyone done this, and if so there opinions?
Any idea of costs?
Or should we just try and sell is whole and get another?

Any ideas/ suggestions welcome!!

We swapped a body over and it cost us £2k I think but they also built some extra lockers and things. Depends how easy it is to swap, how easy you can find a new chasis. We also used to have a demountable horse container which got taken off a few times as the lorry was also a flat bed - it wasn't too much hassle.
 
I had a figure of no more than £2k to swap the body over in my head so thats bout right.
Did you have it respayed once swapped this is what we want to do. If you did if you dont mind me asking how much was it roughly?
