lorry question?

Ok lorry is being plated on the 1st March. It is a 7.5ton D reg ford cargo in what I think is good nick. Stalled for 3 but only use it for 2. Nice day living with plenty of space. Bought it last April as a first box as didn't know how much I'd use it or even if I'd like driving it. So bearing in mind Mum and Dad were dead set against me getting one Dad has turned round to say "why don't you use your ISA money and get a newer better lorry" well you could have knocked me over with a feather!
So decisions do I sell it/trade it in and buy another one? Would be willing to use money from this box and say £10k as well to get another one.
Or as someone has suggested today buy a new chassis and put the box on top of a newer chassis?
I like the box as its 8' wide so plenty of space for Pidge as he is very long - in a 7' or 7'3" rug! Any advice much appreciated

thanks, am tempted to keep it but its like 20 years old! Are the newer horseboxes as wide as mine? Has anyone ever transferred the box to a new chassis before?
 
Speak to the guy at Midland Horseboxes, you will be surprised at what you can get for your money !!! There is a website to look at too, do a search on Google.

The only trouble with buying a newer box is that it may well have internal lockers (under the horses' heads) and this will then cut the width down. This is the problem we have found as we have been looking at boxes for big horses. If you box is reliable and suitable for you - I'd be inclined to stick with it.
