Our horse box hasnt been used since 12th Dec, and today we started it up, just to move it forward so I could get my car out of the car port a little easier and it fired up straight away, to our amazment, with all this cold we thought she wouldnt go, not that we have ever had any trouble before but it has been extra cold recently.

Woop woop!! Well done!!!

We tried to start the lorry last week but battery was dead, so ended up jump starting it off a 4x4 and my little Peugeot 106

Got it going then whilst it was running and charging the battery it ran out of diesel, so after filling it up and bleeding it out come the 4x4 and 106 again

Didn't actually get it anywhere in the end as the yard was full of snow and ice

Thats good news!! Hopefully this will cheer everyone up.
For the last 2 weeks I have been entering my ford ka via the boot as central locking and doors are frozen.
So apologies to everyone in south yorkshire/ north derbyshire area if you've seen my big white builders bum as I enter in this fashion! Also fear not if you drive by me during said process, no that red ford Ka isn't eating me as my legs wiggle in, it's just the new novel way to travel in this weather!!

And before anyone gets their panties in a twist about it not being a horsey enough post, last time I had to perform this rear entry maneuver was at my riding stables-phew!
At least horses don't mind you making an arse of yourself-literally!!
