I have dropped the price of my lorry down to £5250 with best offer.
I will accept any offer of £5000 or more.

I have had LOADS of interest, loads of offers but the highest offer i have had is 4.5k.

I think i am realistic with the price now, it is worth 5k easily and is comparable in price to other lorries that make age etc, so i dont understand why such low offers (i had one offer of £1950!)

I am just going to relist it each time the ebay listing ends but wondering if i will have to wait until spring.

Any one elses lorry selling?

I think wot you have to remember is its coming up to christmas and people will be thinking more about that.. if your in no rush then waiting till the spring sounds a much better idea.. saying that if you are in a rush 4.5k is pretty close to your asking price and maybe worth considering.. :) xx

Is this the 3.5tn R reg? I think if you are desperate to sell then 4.5K is not too bad. I paid £5.5K for my R reg 7.4 tonner, takes 3 horses, living ect. So I wouldn't pay much more than £4,750 for a 3.5tn. You will likely get more coming into spring/summer when boxers are more in-demand if you can wait till then.

ossy, it's the K reg AFAIK.

OP The trouble is that although you may think you are realistic about the price, it's only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. If that's 4.5K then you have to decide how badly you need to sort your finances out.

As I said on the other thread if you want top dollar for it you need to make sure the photos are as good as they could be - clean and tidy and not with s h i t smeared up the back wall and across the floor.

as someone else has said its the buyers that will dictate the market value and so its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Unless your happy to hold on to it until next year i would take £4500 as it is no far off what you want. People just things cheap as possible! Good luck

If you keep it until spring you may find it is still not going to make the price. It will have less time on its MOT, possibly any rust will get worse and tyres/brakes do not benefit from no use, I would take the best offer you get unless you can get it back into use.

i have just re insured the lorry and have sorted finances a bit so i am no longer in such a mega panic to sell it.

Sounds a though i will just have to hang on to it until the right offer comes up.

I break up from work on Thursday so may well get a pot of white paint and give it a once over during the xmas hols. I was going to do it in the spring anyway if i kept it so may as well do it now :)
