NO

Passing a C1 or C test only allows the driver to tow 750 kgs behind it
Passing a +E test is required

If you only have a B licence at the moment then you can tow under certain rules with it - see the towing clinic link in my signature at the bottom of this post :)

Passing C1+E will upgrade B to B+E
Passing C+E will upgrade C1 to C1+E and B to B+E
The upgrade from B to B+E in the above two cases will only be valid for as long as the medical remains current

What do you want to tow and with what type of vehicle??

I don't want to tow but am hoping to do my HGV test soon so was just wondering if it would cover me if I ever did want to tow (not likely at the moment!)!
