Very daft. But how do people keep on top of their lorry tyre pressures?
I can't seem to find a garage pump to give me the required 90 PSI....most struggle beyond 60.
What do you do? Is it a trip to the commercial mechanic every month?

My OH has a thing that i think is called an Air Compressor, he uses that to check the pressures and pump up when needed.

Yes. I have a small compressor to. But it doesn't do over 60 in a trailer tyre even tho it's rated to 250 psi.
Guess I need to look at another brand

Not very scientific but, as a rule of thumb if the gap between the dual wheels is the same both sides you are going to be reasonably sure their ok. Motorway and bigger petrol stations have compressors and gauges that run to 120psi. If all else fails a lot of tipper drivers carry an air line to inflate their own tyres from air tanks, usually they will be hogging all the parking at any transport cafe!
