Bear was neutered nearly a year ago now as he had a strange skin condition on his testicles and we were worried about cancer.
Now the strange condition is back
It started on his nose I washed his bowls and started treating it with spray in picture below
It has improved but not fully healed

Two more have appeared one on lower left back leg
And one on his elbow on front left leg

I’m losing my mind has anyone seen his before??
No other dogs have it
The lumps are hard and grow on top of the skin

(I have messaged the vet but wondering if anyone has seen this before to help narrow down testing)
When they tested after surgery they didn’t see any cancer

It’s also in like..3 completely different hair length spots
Nose has super short hair
Lower leg is medium
And elbow very long hair
So it’s not airflow issues cuz then his nose would be fine

The elbow looks like a hot spot.

And depending on what he's been rummaging in, during sniffing out grass, hedges, etc he may have just got some sort of irritant on his nose or even just wet fur that's festered a bit. Our old beagle used to get mud fever type condition around the outside of her ear flaps where her ears would come into contact with wet grass.

I don't think what your dog has are linked in anyway.
.they can also get a skin condition called Eosinophilic dermatitis which can be treated with steroids by the vet. This can cause a thickened area of skin but it's usually quite itchy for the dog. It can be found on nose and lower extremities.

I would make an appointment and take the dog to the vet for a proper diagnosis (skin scrape?) and treatment. No point in messing about with OTC treatments when you don't know what you are treating.
As stated I have messaged my vet just wondering if anyone seen it before as they never came to a conclusion on what it was last time as I just neutered him when there was any chance of cancer

Yes I saw that you have messaged the vet. I would actually take the dog to the surgery for a hands-on investigation

They all started off like the elbow and the nose one is mostly healed so I do think they’re linked but it’s possible they’re not
Thank you for suggestions guys

OK so for skin conditions you need a vet who is very well versed and you need to firefight it.
You need to find out if it's an allergy or infection and whether it's bacterial, fungal, viral etc.
He may need steroids, an antifungal, drugs like Atopica or Apoquel, Malaseb shampoo or a Cytopoint injection.
I'd maybe try and get a referral to another vet who is an expert in skin conditions and be prepared to travel and fork out a bit.

I’m waiting for a call back from vet
I will absolutely take him anywhere he needs to go
They’re pulling up his records from last year hopefully don’t take long to get back to me
He doesn’t seem bothered by them at all which is odd
No biting or scratching
Doesn’t seem sore
We ran bloods last time and they came back normal but maybe zinc isn’t a normal thing they test? I can ask for it to be tested

I don’t know why I didn’t think to search breed specific
Thank you

Dropped off
Getting a strip biopsy so they’re shaving his whole leg
I always get worried when they have to be shaved as I’m told it never grows back same and hate him being uncomfortable
I hope you get some answers that you can do something with.
I can't see why having hair shaved would stop it growing back the same as before, the follicle isn't touched. I have never noticed any problem after the hair has grown back post shaving.

Hope you get some results.

Luna (husky) had a bladder op a few months ago. A large area of her tummy was shaved and has grown back fine.

It’s the guard hairs on a Samoyed that take a long time to regrow and make him water resistant
So can cause issues with their coat for awhile until they regrow

My spaniel had a similar issue last year, athletes foot cream go rid of it.

Results might take 2 weeks as doing 3 different tests
Did the biopsy a skin scrape and hair plucks
Antibiotic in mean time as an infection set in on the skin but not the cause
He looks so red and sore poor baby
It's horrible when they have skin problems. Our vet keeps saying it's environmental factors with Summer so this Spring she's having the yearly injection recommended by our vet before the pollen strikes.

Biopsy finally back
Lots of words I didn’t really understand but basically he has an infection but it’s secondary to the real issue
Last time general bloods were done came back fine but they gonna do more thorough bloods for liver and send away some samples
Also get an ultrasound
They think his liver doing something
Booked in Tuesday to get his whole belly shaved
