losing ones marbles...

[Oh dear - I think I may have to come out of the closet as a marble loser too....... searched multi-storey for car and remembered I had left it at the park and ride....... ] :D

Walking around the parking lot at Walmart looking for a mud coloured truck amongst dozens of other mud coloured trucks and then remembering that we actually had a new red one. I did wonder why OH and the child were almost wetting themselves laughing:mad:

Lets see, frequently driven to work with large notebooks, chargers and phone but sucessfully having left my laptop plugged in on my desk.
Gone to the petrol station and found I have taken my purse out of my handbag to pay for something on line
Frequently have had to answer an early morning call so again, taken work phone out of bag, gone off for meetings, no phone
Turned up on the wrong day for my flight to Dubai (work) though in my defense they had mucked around with the dates. Had to go home to an empty flat, nothing in fridge and dog in kennels
Still keep heading the wrong way to my old job and not my new one

and so, I wonder how many people will get the times wrong when the clocks change back? personally I will not be looking at any dressage tests on that day!

These days I can't even remember what I have forgotten. I tried the memory room thingy for a bit which worked great to a point as I could always remember what I'd put in it. Trouble was I could never remember to check my memory room to see what I remembered to put in it!

So now I have resorted to lists by the front door for REALLY important stuff and constant reminders on my mobile phone (which is Ok until I loose that, so very important to keep it charged and on loud ring for finding)

My mother pulled a similar stunt - once when we were out shopping, she was convinced that she parked in the lot right outside the store, when really she parked the car in the roof section. I guess marble loss runs in the family...
