so i went for hack on my Dolly Dot on Sat and met a VERY energetic horse in a field who was showing off, bucking and snorting and farting away as he was galloping around his field, and it got me thinking..

Dolly & her shetty friend Maddie have been very subdued lately, i put it down to restricted turn out space, or cold or mud or the sulk they've been having about the rain/wind! they are out 24/7. Is it normal? are they just chilled out ponies or is something wrong. they are wandering about and picking at whats left of the grass just fine,

just havnt seen the usual chasing, bucking and playing we got in the summer.. its a shame!

whats everyone else's horses like this time of year?

on a side note someone told me today that this winter will be the harshest we've ever had with temps down to -15.. thats scary!:eek:

tbh i dont usually believe people that predict weather months in advanced! summer was supposed to be amazing but was totally S**T!! so who knows what will happen!

i hope it doesnt get that cold though, i hate the cold! :(
