Lost my horse today

I'm so sorry for your loss, sending you lots of love. I lost my horse in what I consider preventable circumstances, it was an incredibly tough pill to swallow, the self-blame and also the feeling of unfairness when it's a freak incident that thousands of people get away with every day, but your horse was the one that got unlucky. The only thing I took some comfort in was that he was so incredibly loved every single day of his life. He knew nothing but kindness, safety and care, and not every horse is that fortunate. I hope you can make peace with what happened in time and cherish the wonderful times you had together and take some comfort that his time with you was happy 💔
 
I’m so sorry of your sudden and devastating loss. What a shock for you.

When those intrusive thoughts start creeping in about what you could’ve done differently push them out of your mind again. Don't give them any time or attention because there was nothing you could’ve done. Be kind of yourself and take care.
 
So sorry for your loss. I'm sure there was nothing different you could have done. Horses find all the best ways to kill themselves despite us wrapping them in cotton wool. Sending love.
 
Oh my goodness, please don’t carry guilt as well as grief - it is not your fault. It just happened like all tragedies just happen without warning.

I send you my deepest sympathies because the pain of loss is unbearable at first and so hard to go through. xx
 
Been there with my heart mare I felt utterly bereft I walk the same path and say hi loved her to bits but she's still here in memories and photos
 
How awful, I’m so sorry 💔 take care of yourself, and know that it wasn’t your fault. Accidents with horses can come out of absolutely nowhere.
 
So very sorry for your loss. What a horrible shock for you. A much loved horse is always one of the lucky ones, to live out his life with a caring owner. Xx
