my mare chucked me twice yesterday. She planted the biggests bucks ever head between her knees & everything. She Did it about 20 mins into the hack & we was walking up a hill. First time was funny when i fell off but as soon as i got back on she done it again. So lost my nerve a little. think if we were going at a faster pace i could understand why she done it but cant see any sense apart from she wanted rid of me. So going to lunge her and ride her again tonight. So if you could all send some vibes so i dont fall off again as the ground is a little bit dryer & harder then yesterday.

I honestly dont know why. At first i thought it could be flies because just before she done it she stopped to kick her belly at the flies & swung her head round. I got the horseflies off her then she went mad. I tried her in a hanging cheek snaffle yesterday but wouldnt have thought that would make a difference, would it? We seemed to have had a real good bond together but feel like we've gone back to the begining again. Plus she had the cheek when i walked up to her to catch her after she kindly threw me off to do a little nicker at me. Maybe she was laughing at me!!
 
How naughty, hope you're alright. I would get her back/saddle teeth checked just incase if you havent already. It may have been the flies winding her up. You could try her in a dutch gag or kimblewick for hacking so you can keep her head up and keep her moving forward. If i were you id cut down her food and up her work!! Lunge, lunge, lunge hehe

Hope she behaves herself tonight! Make sure she works hard on the lunge before you get on board!!
 
Well she didnt behave aswell as id like but she weren't to bad. She going to be lunged & lunged & lunged. usually ride her in a gag. Put that back on last nite. Give her another try tonight.
