Apologies for starting a new thread but the title of the old one wasn't up to date!

Soooo, the pup found by my friend last week hasn't been claimed and has been signed over to them by the police. All the reputable charities in the area are bursting at the seams and she didn't want to put him through the trauma of kennels anyway so she is rehoming him from home.

He's been nicknamed Dave, he's between 4-6 months old, unknown breeding, possibly Kelpie x, Collie x, (vet reckoned Thai Ridgeback x!) or just your average mongrel. He's a real sweetie, fab with kids, lovely natured, already toilet trained, sits on command.... he's a bright energetic little button who will need an active home and plenty of mental stimulation. He was found in a lock up in the snow, very cold and hungry, now living in Bathgate (west lothian) in the lap of luxury.

Friend's OH is allergic othrwise she would have kept him, she is getting a bit distressed because everyone is getting attached to him but she knows that they can't give him the life he needs... if anyone is interested, please please PM me for friends phone number

Thanks for reading

Did you not hear from the girl at my work Jules - I did email her your friends number but I havent heard from her since - she works in our Dunfermline office, Im in Livingston - afraid I dont know her personally but if she doesnt want him I can place an ad on our intranet for his rehoming for you?

Well, I think she should get rid of the OH and keep the dog!!! Lol. OR, just keep the dog and the OH will probably become immune eventually - I am allergic to dogs but generally if a new dog is introduce to my environment I will react for a while (asthma/eczema etc) but then I build up an immunity.

God, i soo wish I could have a dog right now. it's very unfair when all these homeless dogs keep cropping up, i want one but due to my working hours (well and current finances) i can't have one. you can guarantee by the time I can have one i won't be able to find one for love nor money!!!

I really hope he finds a nice home poor thing.

Hi, i'm a volunteer with German Shepherd Rescue Scotland, if your friend contacts us via the website we may be able to help with rehoming. You can find details at German-Shepherd-Rescue-Scotland.org.uk

Have had 2 responses from people at work interested in him (and a dozen emails from people telling me how cute he is :D) so have passed the fosterers details along to her - hopefully they will contact her :)
