Lost shoe - gutted.

Absolutely gutted - my mare ripped a front shoe off today. Farrier cant come until after xmas. The only reason I stayed at home on my own this christmas was to ride and now I cant. I cant even turn her out cos her foot falls apart on the walk to the field. Sorry for the moan just wanted to vent.

Mine went barefoot a few months ago. All doing very well, no problems.
Something to consider.

I have same prob, so brought hoof boots-old macs. All is now fab when he decides to loose a shoe. Strap on the boot and off we go, much to Mr W's disgust!!!!! I am sure he does it to get out of work
