Hi, I've just purchased a gelding by Lostock Huntsman. although it's really early days he seems to be a real sweetie. If anyone out there knows something about this stallion or has a horse by him, I'd be pleased to hear from you. I've bought my gelding for dressage but he has evented in the past.

A friend of mine has a 14 yr old gelding by him. He is such a sweetie but can also be a bit of a monkey. He was supposed to be an eventer but his dressage is fantastic so she has taken him the BD route.

We had a stunning coloured mare by Lostock Huntsman. She was very scopey with lovely paces and a good temperament.

Unfortunately she had recurrent equine rhabdomyolysis. It only affected her eventing, she was fine as long as she did no fast work or significant canter work.

Fab horses. Gorgeous stallion.
If your on facebook. Look up Caroline Hamilton. Lostock is her stud. She's also the chair woman of CHAPS. Lots of Lostock babies owners have pictures on her page and she's friends with many which says a lot.

I had a beautiful coloured mare by him. She was a real handful when I got her but I think she'd had some tough times. A very fast learner, sharp and most definitely 'alpha mare.' I re-backed her and sold on and she's pony club eventing.

I met this stallion when he was showing, in fact I liked him so much, I sent my mare to him.
I remember he seemed to stamp his stock with a very nice head, he was a performer too.
Wouldnt hestiate to consider buying one by him, good luck with yours.

Such a lovely stallion. I put my to him several years ago. Obviously I liked the look of him, but his temperament is to die for.

My horse was bred by the langaller stud and kept entire until he was 6. I think they were intending to stand him at the stud if he passed his stallion grading, however, his jumping wasn't up to scratch. He's done mainly dressage since then and as he has lovely active paces he's done quite well. Fingers crossed all will go well with him!
