Apologies in advance for lots of silly questions but not shown before. I have a 3 1/2 year old new forest gelding he's been broken and has come on really well. In the future I'd like to look at showing him but honestly I'm not even sure how to start? Absolutely any advice really appreciated

I would suggest that you go to a couple of shows near you, without the pony, and have a good look at what is going on. People at the ringside, particularly near the collecting ring, are often very happy to explain it: what they are doing, what the judge is looking for, etc. You might also volunteer your time to see more about how it works.
